Our Founder Managing Director: Mr Antony Old

Over 40 years experience in the building and civil engineering industry, and with a love of the crafted decoration product, led Tony Old to explore the Chinese construction product market place soon after his arrival in Shanghai in October 1995.

During his time as a project manager on such prestigious developments as the Da Chang Water Treatment Plant, the Shanghai Racquet Club and Apartments, the German Centre for Industry and Trade, the Shanghai Richina Leather Company, Tony with his now co-Director, Linny Ye, sourced the best of the Chinese stone markets and quarries from all over the mainland and introduced them to his contacts in England from where the current business was bom.

By applying his western management training and his knowledge of the English construction market allowed Tony to develop the business from the basic roots of providing a quality product at a very competitive price. The business is now a major supplier to the English inner city regeneration process as well as to many other parts of the world.

Co-Founder & Operation Director: Ye Ling Ling (Linny)

Winner of a Masters Degree in Geotechnical Engineering from the famous Tongji University, Linny has worked in the North China Power Design Institute for 3 years followed by a return to her scholastic roots of Tongji University where she lectured in her specialist subject of geotechnical engineering for 8 years.

As her studies encompassed geological engineering it was a natural progression for her to develop a passion of stone production and an appreciation of the beauty of crafted stone.

With the knowledge of the product, a honest and hardworking approach and the teachings of business management from Tony, Linny has developed the skills to cross the cultural divide between West and East and manages the China side of the business with flair and efficiency.
